For his alleged role in threatening violence and unauthorized possession of a firearm during a football game in Kpando on June 4, 2023, police have arrested suspect Selorm Buta alias Dangotey, who was on the run.

Kofi Godsway, Dangotey's sidekick, was detained by police after they searched a Nissan pickup truck that the suspects had been using. Several prohibited goods were found during the search, including a pump-action gun, a pistol made locally, a foreign desert eagle pistol, and 13mm ammunition.

Dangotey managed to elude capture and spent some time on the run, however a police statement confirmed his capture.

The defendant is in custody and will appear in court to answer for his or her crimes.
